Emma Lynam is the Master Shredder.
Emma was born with Down Syndrome and a range of other disabilities. But she is not defined by these labels. Thanks to her strong work ethic, Emma has become a successful young businesswoman, proudly running Master Shredder from Townsville, QLD. She is an active Member of the Townsville Chamber and BNI Townsville, building strong connections in the local business community.
What can the Master Shredder offer your business?
Emma cannot read or write so she is the perfect person to shred confidential documents.
Emma has 2 commercial cross-cut shredders. One is a din 3 machine and the other is a din 5 machine. The din level indicates the level of
security, meaning that you cannot put documents back together with either of these machines.
All the shredded waste is removed from your business at the time of the service. All the shredded paper is currently going to a local farm where it is used as mulch to help retain moisture in the soil.
Your business will be provided with a locked bin to store your documents in until its time for the master shredder treatment.
